Shopping and relaxing in the Louisen Center in Bad Homburg v.d.H.
Louisenstraße, the pedestrianised area of the town of Bad Homburg, near Frankfurt, provides an excellent location for the construction of retail premises.
Located at the start of Louisenstraße, directly opposite the town hall, the Louisen Center marks the beginning of the Bad Homburg pedestrianised zone. A retail area of approximately 12.400 m² will be built on the site once occupied by the District Council Offices. There will be four shopping levels all interlinked via a central access area. High-end clothing retailers and a consumer electronics market have expressed a particular interest. The facility’s underground car park will accommodate approximately 150 spaces. The public transport stops in the vicinity will ensure a high level of accessibility.
The listed facade of the former District Council Offices will be retained and renovated in order to preserve the architectural character and historical structure of Louisenstraße. Coupled with the modern interior and external design, this will enable the Louisen Center to become the defining factor of a whole new shopping experience in the centre of Bad Homburg.
