Projektbilder Schloss-Strassen-Center

The Kröpeliner-Tor-Center (KTC) in Rostock will see the completion of a further Tenkhoff Properties GmbH project in the autumn of 2007. The KTC has been jointly developed with LBBW Immobilien Capital GmbH and is located in Kröpeliner Straße, Rostock‘s main shopping area. The KTC provides around 18,500 m² of retail rental space spread over four levels, offering a sophisticated and cosmopolitan mix of tenants. Alongside ZARA and Saturn, the stores opening up for trade will include New Yorker, Thalia, Douglas, Plus, an organic food market and a host of other interesting lease holders.

The centre also has about 1,000 m² of office space with views over the city centre and a gym operated by the Fitness Company. The proximity of local public transport links and an underground car park with 400 spaces make for an excellent level of accessibility.

The pleasant light and airy atmosphere of the interior of the centre provides an attractive place to linger, as does the café with its garden set between the Kröpeliner Tor, a former city gate, the KTC and the “Seven Sisters” Fountain. The high-quality external architecture blends in harmoniously with Rostock’s cityscape, the combination of travertine and large glass areas providing the perfect example of how a modern facade design can assimilate well into its historic surroundings.
