Haerder - Center, Lübeck:
the new shopping experience in the old part of the city of Lübeck

Due to open in the autumn of 2008

From autumn 2008, the Haerder - Center in Lübeck will bring a new dimension to shopping in Lübeck as part of a whole new retail experience. The centre is being developed on the site once occupied by the traditional “Haerder” department store at the very heart of Lübeck’s trading and commercial district. Located opposite the Kohlmarkt, the Haerder-Center in Lübeck is located at the intersection of the main shopping streets of Breite Straße, Holstenstraße and Königstraße and will be integrated into the pedestrianised zone in the old part of the city.

The numerous bus routes stopping directly in front of the centre and the 200 spaces provided in the facility’s own underground car park will ensure that the Haerder-Center Lübeck is perfectly accessible.

The Haerder-Center Lübeck will extend over approximately 13,600 m² of rental space and provide an attractive mix of tenants. Retail areas are spread over a total of four levels, ranging from the basement to the second floor. The third storey will feature around 2,000 m² of appealing office space offering panoramic views over the city of Lübeck.

The impressively designed facade of the Haerder-Center Lübeck will provide an optical highlight. The mall will be flooded with light and will offer a modern and transparent shopping experience. The Haerder-Center Lübeck will represent high-quality retail services set within an historic context.

The project is being realised by Tenkhoff Properties in conjunction with its project partner LBBW Immobilien Capital GmbH.
